Dry Drum Magnetic Seperator
Dry drum magnetic seperator is an equipment used in industrial processes to separate materials (Materials can be in different shapes either sizes) It uses magnetic forces to separate or remove materials with magnetic properties from other materials.

Working principles of dry drum magnetic seperators;
- 1. Drum Structure: These separators usually contain magnetic material particles placed on a rotating drum. As the drum rotates, magnetic material particles also rotate.
- 2. Creating a Magnetic Field: Magnetic material particles placed on the drum create a magnetic field during the rotation process. This magnetic field attracts other materials that react to the magnetic properties on the materials’ surface.
- 3. Material Separation: Materials are fed into the drum from an entry point such as a feeding conveyor or a feeding hopper. With the effect of the magnetic field, materials with magnetic properties adhere to the drum surface and are separated from other materials while being transported.
- 4. Separation Zone: The zone where magnetic materials are separated on the drum surface is the separation zone. In this zone, magnetic materials are separated from the drum surface and directed to a separate conveyor or bucket carrier.
- 5. Cleaning of Magnetic Materials: In order to prevent the accumulation of magnetic materials adhering to the drum surface, a cleaning process is performed during the rotation of the drum. This ensures that the magnetic materials are separated from the drum surface and the separation process continues continuously and effectively.
