- Metal Separators -
Eddy Current Non Ferrous Metal Seperator
Eddy-current non-ferrous metal separators are used for the separation of non-ferromagnetic metals. Eddy-current separators create an eddy current on it with the rotation of the magnetic drum arranged in a certain fraction on its axis, with this current, non- ferrous materials enter this area, accelerate and are removed from the current. With this method, non- ferrous materials and other materials are separated from each other. Eddy-current separators are produced in different pole numbers depending on the metal grain size. As the grain size decreases, the number of poles in the drum increases. The drums rotate between 2,000 rpm and 3,000 rpm. Belt speed and Eddy drum speed are controlled by a speed- adjustable control panel to optimize separation quality.
